retreats that cover all aspects of this rewarding hobby.
- Patchwork and Quilting – for beginner or advanced
sewers. These are our most popular classes by far, with
7 separate
classes held. There are plenty of projects to choose from – or bring
your own project. Something new to learn all the time. Beginners can
start out with our simple patchwork cushion (optional). When you have
completed your first quilt top you can learn the “quilting process” and
how to “layer a quilt” for completion. Also learn the latest tips on how
to make a nice quick and very neat binding.

Wednesday. Day- Wednesday. Thursday. Held fortnightly
- Gills Quick and Easy Quilts –
for the overlocker or sewing machine. These quilts do not require any
top quilting at all. So if
you need a quilt in a hurry, try
this new quick and easy technique – imagine
making an entire quilt in a less than a day – including backing, batting
and binding (binding optional, with sewing machine.)
